That depends on the loan. Does it have prepayment penalty? Sometimes you can refi and get a better loan with hard money lender. For example, fully amortized over 30 years with 3 or 5 years fixed. There are a lot of options and these loans can get pretty creative. It all depends on your situation and what you're seeing yourself doing with the property in the future.
