Hello all,

My father is looking to free up some capital for retirement. To do this he's decided he wants to see a property he's owned for awhile. He wants to try selling online to a bigger company vs local, so I was wondering where he could get started?

The information:
8005 Cisne St. Pharr, TX 78577
- Free & Clear
- 7 3/2b, 1 2/1b, 1 1/1b
- Cap rate: 7.25%, NOI $47k(room for increase
- fully leased & is currently semi-managed
- asking price $620-650k

Hi there all! It's been awhile since I've been on here, since my last visit, I've opened a restaurant, done a lot of equity investing, passed my series 65 exam, become a licensed RE agent, and much more. All that being said I'm posting here to help my father sell his 100% occupied 9 unit apartment building located in South Texas. I am located in the DFW region so I can't directly list his property into the MLS down there unless I join, but I was wondering if there were other sources that work best to list this type of property for sale vs MLS. Loopnet?

I'm fairly new to the field still of real estate investing, so any assistance and insight would help.

Cheers,

Anthony

@David Thompson Yes I would be referring to the EB-5 Program, sorry for not clarifying more upon it.  I would love to connect more with you offline in regards to deals you may have in the pipeline for US investors(Texas based, including myself).  Wish I could attend that conference, but I'll be in Japan starting Feb 24th!

@Lisa Hoover Just sent you a colleague request.  Would love to learn more as I do have connections in Taiwan/HK/China/Malaysia both in a legal capacity and immigration need.

Hi All,

Not sure if this is the best topic area for this question, but I was wondering if anyone is familiar with syndication and investment immigration work.  Looking in particular for anyone that has or currently is putting deals together as a syndicator and their experience with investment immigration.  Not qualified to be a person that puts deals together, but I currently am garnering project interest from the Asia sector(specifically China/Taiwan) with the support of a law firm based in Hong Kong.  I'd love some feedback on past and current experiences!

Hi All,

So a buddy and I are looking to get into the AirBnB(Dallas/Houston area) rental game and was wondering if anyone had some tips on practice, comp comparison sites, spreadsheets, etc.  I've checked out airdna.co, rentingyourplace.com thus far.  Anything helps!

@Damian Leonard Would love to connect as I'm in the DFW area. Relatively new to REI, but open to learn as much as possible thru this community!

Sent a connection request @Lane Kawaoka!

I live in Dallas suburbs(Allen/Plano border) and I must say that a lot of people are trying to purchase these properties for remod, but the majority of property sales is occurring in the North for new builds/prop less than 10 years in age. No way to rent/lease the properties out? Also, I'm very new to the REI world. Bought a townhome in 2012 for well below it's original price and was content. Wish I bought a few more off the block by doing equity financing. Just joining into this world!
