So I found this house and I am very interested in getting a flip and fix loan to get my hands on it and fix it up. I have never done anything like this and I don't even own my own house. I would like to know if someone can point me in the right direction and give me some reputable loan companies that can assist me with this. If possible, can I also get some information on if this flipping thing is possible without much out of pocket money?

Hello everyone.

I am trying to get started with buying, renovating and selling homes. Then after that my goal is to eventually get a building for rental purposes with multiple units but I would start with a duplex after the initial flip. Is there a way to finance a flip or is everything out of pocket? I want to know what to expect and was looking for some direction so advice would be great.

For your units do you guys include utilities in the rent? If so, what do you include?

The more research I did I realized that most of the flips discussions were talking about flat out selling after fixing it up. How do I get started in becoming a landlord and renting out a small multifamily home? This is for Albany, NY.

Well yes. That’s correct. We want to start with the renting then from there the second flip would actually be to sell. Any tips on how that works? You can pm me if you have anything that’ll be helpful.
