Hello, This is the space we play in. Maybe we can talk via email, so we can share info with you. Bottom line it is possible but you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find a keeper.

First - just one persons views. This is a loaded question and the answer is it depends on many factors - right. Daytona Beach is a great place but I would look at a few things when researching this area, look at crime rate and house prices within 1 mile radius. Daytona does have opportunities to grow with price increases, not sure about this neighborhood? Recently we sold properties in Jacksonville Beach and using 1031 exchange, so we have been looking all over. We found 3 homes, mostly beachside. We are locals and our son is an agent in the area. He has been helping us find things and might be worth hooking up with someone that understands investor viewpoints. I love that you are looking in the area and please reach out to us if you need anything.

We have many properties in the area and manage all of them - most beach side and they are good steady revenue generators. I would be very careful with properties between the main street and IBS bridges. They look good but this is a area that can be dicey. I have tried and I just don't buy in that area - there are shootings, drug deals.... Daytona is working to get better but the problem is many of these properties are owned by old timers and they just cash flow it out. Just my take.

If you had a long term view maybe but it will take some serious cash to upgrade many of these properties. I have not been able to make the math work myself.

Is land zoned for a mobile home? We accidently (long story) a manufactured home last year. I can't say I have a grey deal of experience in zoning but we have properties in Daytona and our son is an agent there, so I know the area and he knows more about zoning. Where is the lot, if you want to share publicly. If you don't just send me a note.

Hello Mark,

I can help with finding properties int he Daytona area. This area is a little tricky because there are places that look good on paper but frankly are more work than you want long distance. My son is an agent and I manage our properties in the area. If you elect wisely you can easily make 8% Cash ROI. It is pretty competitive and you have to kiss a lot of frogs:).

We are interested in finding properties for the vacation rental market in the Daytona Beach area. Anyone  invested in a property that could be rented for vacation rental, bike weeks, race weekends.... If so let's connect.

It is dicey being that far away but we purchased a property in Jacksonville Beach several years ago, we were in California, and to tell you the truth I have never been in one side and only seen the property a few times. It is a hard question not knowing more about your situation.

Hello, I like the beach areas -Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach and Jacksonville Beach. Also - I would snoop area Mayport. There is a nice pool of military people in that area. I only know theses areas because we specialize in beachside properties. I love salt life folks. We bought a duplex in 2013 and cash flows very nicely. Since then the appreciation has been awesome.
