I see you're in Seattle, what made you decide to invest in Jacksonville?

I have a few SFR in Jax. Please let me know if you have questions about the area, need references, or anything else regarding real estate.

Hi! I have been investing in JAX for 1.5 years now. I like the area. I will let you know if I need anything. Currently, I have a good realtor, management, insurance broker, etc to work with.

Mushfiq, thanks for the reply!

What kind of business (or side business) do you own and how do you set-up the SOLO-K?  What kind of "proof" of your business is required?  In other words, if you operate a side-business as a sole proprietor (which is basically low visibility relative to having to register with your State), what do you have to provide as that business "proof" for the SOLO-K?

As an example, let's say I sell on EBay as a Sole-Proprietor...what does the SOLO-K company require for the setup?

Also, if you don't mind me asking, who did you use for your setup?

Thanks!

I have an online media company registered as an LLC taxed as S-corp. I get W2 income which I can stash away in a Solo 401K as the $18k employee contribution, and then my employer (i.e., my LLC) can stash away more up to the IRS limit.

I would rather now give you specific advise like you are asking. Your situation is unique.

I used Discount Solo 401K. They are a great group over there. My contact there was @Justin Windham
