Thanks for the welcome everyone. 

I started looking in Charlotte when a family member wanted to move and since we already had family down their, it was an easy pick. Additional family members have moved down there since.

Currently working on closing my first rental down there with a closing date in late August, so I will have plenty of questions to follow.

I like the idea of buy and hold but I do have some interest in flipping properties thought I am not sure I am ready to look down that road yet.

Hello from North Jersey. I have been lurking around the site for a while picking up a lot of helpful information. I thought I would finally introduce myself. I am currently in the process of buying my first rental property in Charlotte NC and am sure I will have plenty of questions. Anyway, hello everyone.
