Hello Tiffany When my wife and I got married we added her name to the house I owned and that we live in and added my name to her home which we have been renting for 4 Years now. We just had to get a lawyer to file a quick deed claim for both properties with the name addition. The loan stayed the same with no change or issues. Hope this helps.

Thanks, and yes we are also at least 6 month if not longer before we will running.. Hopefully the knowledge gained from this sites and it's member will help us reduce that time frame.   Gook Luck to you as well. I will keep you in mind if we do ever decide to move up north, and you like wise if you think about NC.

Thanks for the warm welcome,  My fiancee and I currently have one rental, so we will be looking for Buy and Hold. We am still a long way off from being able to make any moves, but hopefully with what I learn from this site and its members it will guide us in a way to shorten that runway.
