Experienced developer looking for a large investor across multiple deals. Anyone have thoughts for non traditional equity investors/ partners?

Difficult to find because all projects have first liens so need flexible partners who will invest in the entire portfolio. No just one project at a time.

@Jon - thanks for the reply. I am looking for something passive or semi-passive. I was thinking a low overhead franchise like Subway or something. My passion is real estate and development but want something more immediate then an apartment building to throw off some cash.

Hey BP - I used to work for a host of developers as a consultant a few years back right before/during the crash. As many of us noticed, many of them crashed and burned because they didn't have ongoing cash flow.

What are a few of the best cash flow businesses that investors should have outside of real estate as a way to either leverage or protect their real estate interests? (Thinking: franchises, car wash, restaurants, hotels, partnerships, community bank)

Thoughts?
