Thansk Aaron, I should have seen this earlier... we filed through an attorney and took months but squatters are out.

HI Rick. Thanks for sharing.  I am glad to hear. I own property in the HIstoric West End and I have also seen a huge transformation.  I guess the beltline makes a difference and also the Lee and White development.  I would love to hear your insights.

Thanks

i am curious. Did you end up doing the rehab in the West End?

HI Jarreau,

I was wondering if you would share the PA you selected. I am in a similar situation to yours.

I am interested to know who you recommend, please. I am in a similar situation. I think a PA is the best solution.

@Lynn Angus @Rick Baggenstoss

I am a new member looking for advice on Rose Circle. I am being told that Rose Circle (across the road from Lee + White) is not that great at the moment, so I was wondering if you could share some insights.

I have a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom house there which I will need to fix it in order to rent again.  I am wondering if selling makes better sense.

Any thoughts would be very appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi,

I am a new member looking for advice on a house in the Historic West End Atlanta.  I have a house on Rose Circle, just across the road from Rose Circle Park.  Sadly, the old tenant has left a squatter and now we are in the process of evicting them.

My plan was to keep renting the house, however, the property manager has given us an estimate upwards of 30k in repairs for it to be in rentable condition again.

With this in mind, I am wondering if I should fix it and sell it, rather than rent it again. I might have to spend more than originally estimated, hence I am looking for advice.

I am being told that Rose Circle (across the road from Lee + White) is not that great at the moment.  So I am i wondering if anyone is familiar with the area and in particular with this street.  I am being told that in five years, it will become a lot more attractive.  Will it be smarter to just do the bare minimum work to keep renting it for a few more years?

The house is a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom house at the moment.

Any thoughts would be very appreciated.

Thanks!

Monica

@Mallory Austin your remodeling looks great.

Hi Mallory. I saw your post and I am wondering what you think of the west end area now that you live close by.  In particular, I am interested in Rose Circle, just across the road from the breweries and the belt line. Is is perceived as safe or a dangerous area?
I am looking to flip a house on that street. It is a 3bedroom 1 bathroom house and I am wondering if I should invest in another bathroom or leave it as is.
I would Appreciate your comments.
thanks. Monica
