Thanks for the warm welcome and encouraging words @Brandon Leiser and @Christian Laines! Both the books you guys suggested are on their way to me and I’ll be sure to read them :) REIN seems like a great resource, thanks for pointing me to it.  We could take this to a private conversation if you’d prefer, but I would love to chat about how you got started with your first properties. For us it seems daunting and feels like we need to take the plunge and surf the waters. I’d love to know your experience and how you got over this hurdle.

Hey everyone! My husband and I recently graduated from grad school and moved to the Brentwood area in Nashville to pursue jobs! We have listened to a lot of the latest BP podcasts and are very keen on building passive income through rental properties. We are rigorously paying off student loans and expect to be done in about a year from now (April 2019, is our goal). We are reaching out to introduce ourselves and see if there are any local clubs or groups that you’d recommend we join. Any books we should be reading? We are in the very beginning stages of our careers and we don’t foresee having the time to do all the research. Ideally, we’d like to go in on properties with other investors that are willing to do the research. What do y’all think? We’re excited to be part of this group and learn from each other. Cheers!!
