Post: Metlife Home Loans REO

I'm trying to figure out who bought the note on Metlife Home Loans FC from Sept 2014. I contacted the company who is listed on the PropCard, but they said I'd have to get in touch w Metlife directly- they can't give me any info.

Metlife HL is kaput according to a Mortgage Officer I contacted who was previously employed with them.

I've tried looking through the clerk's website to find any docs related to that legal description for the property, but it's not working.  I can find the CT but not an assignment of that mortgage to a third party.

I also tried looking through the JP Morgan Chase REO's because I've seen some Metlife properties are now serviced by them. It's not listed there.

Any thoughts or suggestions on unraveling this would be most appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Welcome to BP!   There's a ton of great info here- I think my head weighs 8 more pounds, and I've only scratched the surface.

Have you found any prospects yet?

I'm looking to find someone who would be interested in partnering up for some deals in Lake County.

Went driving for dollars tonight, and now I've got 3 REO's on a block that I want to pull the trigger on. But I need a partner who can bring the thunder, capitol-wise. All block built, circa 1960s, 2000+ sq ft in a great area, minor rehab, ie flooring, paint, etc.

If interested, please pm me.

Thanks!

@Jen Bilsky

Welcome, fellow Floridian!  I hope you're enjoying the site and good luck on your ventures.

It's nice to have a foot in the door and someone to ask for advice right off the starting block.
