That seems like an incredibly low cap rate for that area.

Thanks for the warm welcomes, everyone.

I definitely agree that we should get a meet up going as soon as possible. Is there a place where a meet up was held recently? Like a bar or something? It's just a matter of picking a time and place.

Hi, all.

My name is Mike and I am a new member who grew up on Long Island and currently lives in Brooklyn, New York. I am ready to jump fully into the real estate investing game. Real estate is pretty much my life already so this is a great progression for me. I would be thrilled to meet people in the NYC area and build connections. I love talking real estate and offering advice, as well as seeing if anything good can come out of something that can benefit both people.

I am mostly looking for single family and multi-family properties in NYC, Long Island and possibly New Jersey for buy and hold. I am also strongly considering the idea of purchasing a 2-4 unit property to live in and rent out the other units as that obviously is a great way to get started. I guess it's probably best to stay local for my first property or two but I absolutely will consider investing in a different part of the country.

This is a great community that i'm thrilled to be a part of. I hope to provide value for as many people as possible. I'm excited for all of our bright futures!
