BP CT Family,

There is a multi family I am interested in buying and after a walk through today found extensive mold in the middle unit around the walls and ceiling throughout the entire unit. This one unit will def need rehab. On the other hand the top unit is completely different. It looks like a high quality unit. Both have tenants if purchased I would only retain the top living tenant.

Do any of you have any experience dealing with extensive mold in CT specifically Windham area that you are willing to share?  Recommendations or advice would be great! Would the remediation affect the top unit that has no mold or problems at all?

I will be looking for the best mold professsionals to give an estimate/identify the cause.  I look forward to your insights.

Hello All,

I hope to be able to jump in with some of these discussions. @Stephen Podlaski I am also investing in Norwich. I frequently visit Rhode Island and drive down to Eastern Connecticut. Looking for any recommendations or shared experiences from East CT investors.

@Tim Polk thank you for your response. I've been shopping and searching around the NWI market for potential good deals meeting all the wickits for a good BRRRR/passive income properties and I happened to find a really good one this week. The low market cost was also very intriguing to me for my first out of state investment. How have you seen rehabs be and the return on the investment especially on areas like Peru?

BP Family,

I am happy to be a part of this community. I am looking into long distance investment properties in NWI and my goal is to initiate my first BRRRR property. I have Cash ready to invest either for down payment or full purchase and i am shopping around at the moment. I would like to hear about your experiences and connect with experienced investors in NWI. At the moment i am looking at Peru. If any of you have insight i would greatly appreciate it!

R,

Milton
