I've definitely got to get in on this. I saw mention of interning once or twice in here and am very intrigued by that. Especially the wholesaling while building capital and digging myself out of a financial hole. I recently became a single father and have a lot of work to do in order to get out of the situation my exwife left my daughter and I in. So wholesaling would be a great starting point. Anyone have any guidance on how to meet up with & intern with some local wholesalers?

How long will this be available for?

There is an Alamo Real estate investors association here in San Antonio
Very active. Getting involved there would definitely be helpful.
I’ve been to one, and plan to become a regular member

Which one is that? I saw the one with Rick Pozos that meets every second Wednesday, is that the one you're talking about? I'm planning on attending that one to start getting involved in the community. If you're talking about the same one, I'd definitely like to connect while we're there. And if it's a different one, which one? The more involved we can all get the more chance we all have of success.

Thanks for the tip Michael! I actually found a couple on there I'm going to check into. It'll be great getting to know local investors and helping each other become successful!

I’ve found San Antonio is very random. The different sides of town have their specific demographics, and that of course affects housing quite a bit. But I’ve also found within some of those demographics a few hidden “good” spots. Our above gentleman are absolutely correct in what they’re saying, but nothing beats driving through and laying eyes on the neighborhood just in case it’s one of those hidden gems.

Hello! My name is Mikk Phillips. I’m brand new to the REI world. Attended one of those Fortune Builders events recently and while doing research, discovered Bigger Pockets. Holy wow there’s a ton of information here! But I’ve been around long enough to know that book learning and physically learning are totally different. I’m looking forward to learning from BP, the folks on BP, and trying to find local meetings and learn there too.
