@DeMarcus Washington, nice to meet you. I'll start going to the REIA meetings again next year.

@Gunter Freystaetter, Boone is a nice area...I like the mountains and nice restaurants there.

Hi @Andrew Newlon, when you say you are running campaigns with little success, what do you mean? Is CPA too high or not enough volume? I don't know how big your campaign is but if your campaign is small, you might not need a full time PPC management company. If you need some help with quick audit of your campaigns, let me know. I'm new to real estate investing but I'm certified Adwords expert and I may be able to help. I'd like to contribute to the BP community :)

@Chris Puckett, nice to meet you and thanks for the advice. I've been reading one real estate a book per week and gathering knowledge since this fall but when I jumped in and started to look for deals, I've noticed it's a tough market out there! I'll definitely keep going to REIA and meet more people in the area.

@Mychal Dotts, our REIA group has a good group of experienced people and also tons of newbies like us who want to learn and network. I think their schedule is bit off because of the holidays but after New Year, they should go back to the regular weekly meeting schedule. You should come by :)

Hey Mychal, nice to see a fellow Greensboro investor. I'm a newbie and looking for my first rehab & hold property. Maybe we can meet up and discuss real estate. Do you go to Triad REIA meetings? I started going last few meetings.

Great post! I applaud you for taking a massive action. I don't know how many contractors you called to replace the clay sewage line but $3,000 looks very reasonable to me, at least in my area. I had to replace the clay sewage line too and I called 10+ contractors before I found a company that can do sewage and water line replacement for $2500 on time. Most are charging $3000~$7000 in my area. Next time I buy an old house, I'm definitely doing a sewage line inspection with a plumber and a camera. Now you know all the retail prices for fixing everything so your estimate would be a lot more accurate next time. Great job!
