I am looking for refinance rates for a fourplex in South Florida.

Current mortgage: $473,418

No need to cashout, 30 years fixed.

Excellent credit score.

Thank you.

@Rex Celle thank you very much for your reply. I decided to go with 12 months of rental loss coverage and 1 million liability.

Buying a fourplex and closing in 2 weeks. My questions how much rent coverage should my policy have? 100% of rent income? 50% rent income?

On another note how much liability do you recommend? 300,000? 1 million? Property is held under an LLC. Or better to have only $100k liability and have a separate umbrella policy?

Thank you.

@Eldin Kalac the master insurance should be provided by the condo association. However, to get pre-approval you don’t need to get all that. Thats mostly once you have agreed to a sales price and have a signed contract with the seller.

@Brian Ploszay he does teaching, podcasts, and boot camps about real estate. But he also has different syndication projects to invest with him.

I am curious if anyone has invested in any projects syndicated with Rod Khleif? Good or bad experience? Good or bad investment?

I am considering becoming a passive investor in one of his projects but I wanted to check if anyone had any thoughts or experiences.

Thank you.

@Javier Diaz

Honestly save your money. Probably you are better off volunteering or interning for free with a more established investor, and learn as you go.
