Hi Chris, I recently sold a property in that area and from the basic info you gave, I would say that it's a pretty solid deal from a purchase price side at least. How close is it to the Southglenn development over there? Let me know if you'd like me to look at it more closely, always happy to help out with no strings attached. Thanks! Mike

Post: Interesting Article - Wanted to get your thoughts

Hi all -

We here in Denver are used to hearing statistics about how many people are constantly moving here (and seeing the effects of that) but this was the first one that I'd seen that quoted a statistic about how many people are leaving the area as well. Wanted to see what your thoughts are on this. I know that one statistic or article never encompasses the whole picture but thought this was interesting nonetheless -

I have personally seen clients leave the area in the last year but those had more to do with moving back closer to family to get help with the kids than it did with the fact that they could buy a huge house back in the Midwest for what we sold their home for here. I've continued to have new clients moving here on a consistent basis and they seem to fit the mold of people making wages in the higher end who can actually afford to buy something here. What have you all been seeing?

Thanks!

I've had pretty good luck with J & K Cabinetry in the past. Just make sure you have enough lead time to get them in.

Thanks Sterling White ! It's 99% done, just got it staged yesterday and will list next week. It's a unique property for the neighborhood but it turned out beautifully so I'm confident (knock on wood) we'll do well on it.

Hi Everyone -

I'm new to BiggerPockets but have enjoyed all the material and discussions I've seen thus far. I'm an active agent in the Denver area and am currently finishing my 2nd flip this year and actively looking for multi family properties. I love what I do but I'm looking to focus some more energy on the investment side of things as we move into 2017. I look forward to connecting with other investors in the area and am excited to learn from you all!
