I have a connected with a couple of agents through BiggerPockets but I have been working on this deal prior to that.  

This is the last loose end that I am trying to tie up before an offer. But I am also new to the area and REI in general so still learning.

Does anyone know if a Certificate of Occupancy is required when you have a Triplex with 3 tenants in Fort Myers?  I am looking at a property and the sellers agent says no.  But I called the City and they said yes,  The sellers agent says the woman at the City is wrong.  Help?!

I am a newbie looking to invest in a multi-family property in Southwest Florida- Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Sarasota, Bradenton, Tampa, St. Petersburg areas.  I moved to the area a few months ago and have been following the market and am now comfortable to start investing.
