I tried searching briefly about any scandals involving Veterans United and wasn't successful at finding anything related. What I will do is continue to move on forward with Veterans United and if I run into problems caused by them then I will definitely be warning others about them. Until this day though, I've heard nothing but good stuff about them and I've had plenty of recommendations which is why I started working with them for my next home. Navy Federal treated me good and hopefully, it turns out the same way for you. I can't use Navy Federal on my next purchase because they do not provide VA loans (and maybe non-VA loans) for quadplexes (4 unit home). Good luck!

Have you looked into BP/hardmoneylenders? There's plenty of them on there. Also, reach out to Jon F who has recently advertised loans: https://www.capitalthreesixty.com/ I live next to Fort Bragg, I would love to see how your first flip goes :)

@Peter K. I used Navy Federal for my VA loan and everything has been pretty good :) This was almost 4 years ago. I'm going through Veterans United right now but I've only gotten to the pre approved stage and haven't found the right home yet. Can you show me a link to that negative information on Veterans United please :) I definitely don't want to do business with shady companies.

If I remember correctly, Lowes installed my carpets for my three bedrooms which ran me a little bit over $2,000 for materials and labor. I really like the cheapest laminate Lowes has which ran me a lot less than $1,000 for a 1,300 sqft home. I used it on everything minus the kitchen and bathrooms. I can see "a good guy" charging you $5,000 to $6,000 total for this project.

@Joshua Barker and @Jared Cauffield from what I know and have read on Single Source's website, Single Source in Fayetteville wouldn't be able to help you in this case. This is their website: http://www.singlesourceres.com. I have used Single Source only for my purchases on SFRs but not for any legal activities related to your brother's situation. An attorney in Fayetteville, Richard Gault, might be able to help you with this but in the case he can't, I'm sure he can refer you directly to someone that can. You can get his contact by googling "Richard Gault in Fayetteville" and he will be the first one to show up. I tried putting his number here but BP rejected it.

I lived in NYC and now I'm in NC. It's pretty good down here. I'm Located in Fayetteville. I invest here and nearby. I will be staying in this area unless I get a hot smoking deal elsewhere that I can't refuse (complex). I'm assuming you're going to be living in one of the units?

Now, the next question is "Should I get a separate account for each deposit?" or "Is one account good to put everyone's deposit in?"

So I recently established a company through LegalZoom and then I receive an email and a phone call from a Dun & Bradstreet" sales agent. I spoke to the lady and I quickly caught her sales pitch before she threw it out there. What I got from her and my online research is that Dun & Bradstreet is an extra source for a more credible financial yearly report for businesses. Now, Of course, I want the best possible look for my company so I asked for the price and at first, I was told $1,200 for the year but then it dropped to $900 after I requested more time to think about it. Eventually, I stuck to needing more time to think about it.

My question: Has anyone dealt with this company before? Purchased? If so, was it worth it?

I'm not going to pay for it but I figured to ask about it since I couldn't find anything about them on BP. I think my company's employer identification number (EIN) will work just as my social security number in regards to credit history and credit score.
