Hey Jack

I rented a basement apartment for years. I would think if it's in a nice neighborhood in Roy and priced right.  You would have no problem renting it.   Although my basement rental was in Ogden, it was on the east bench and offered a nicer neighborhood then central Ogden.  Depending on how big and accessible the apartment is really forces what you should rent the apartment at.  Try looking at Ksl classified for idea of what other people are renting at.

Hope this help, let me know if you have any other questions

Thanks

Hello all,

Well I can't really say I am new to BP because I have been poking around BP for years. I think it is time to come out of the wood works and introduce myself.

A little about me I started investing without really know what was doing it started with House Hack, renting out my basement. Looking for ways to better and optimize my basement apartment I stumbled on BP and instantly got hooked.

I was making pretty good cash flow with basement apartment but I was also just blowing the money. BP made me realize the potential of real estate investing.
I sold that property and in process of inquiring two SFH With help of a little creative financing (thanks @Brandon Turner and yes bought your book). My Goal and niche is to build portfolio of Buy and Hold units and try some flips in the process.Cash will always be a concern and how I will inquire the next unit.

Now I need the support of BP. This is my first Buy and Hold any tips for first time investor would be appreciated. I am here to learn and excited to get my Real estate business growing.

I am from Utah, Ogden Weber / Davis area and love to golf any local investors want get game and talk shop hit me up.
