Hi Joe,

thank you for referring me to the local RE club, I will definitely join it. I see that the next meeting will be May 16, hope to see you there.

I always admire people that bought house at auction, we must know the market very well.

I am still in the learning stage to see which strategy to focus on.

Looking forward to talking to you soon.

Hello BP's,

Very glad to join this site, tons of helpful info. Thank you all for contributing, I have learned a lot these few days.

Now approaching retirement we feel a little bit unsecure. Stocks are getting expensive, RE have been gone up so fast these past 2-3 years, bond yields so low, will we have enough money to retire ? We have a few SFR rental properties (bought at top of market) , stocks and bonds in 401K and taxable accounts.

So we are looking for alternative investments to the volatile stock market, and would like to invest more into RE for cash flow and tax benefits.

Should we invest locally (numbers dont make sense) or out-of-state (which market) ? SFR or multifamily ? invest in properties or notes ?

Really appreciate all advice.

Michelle.
