@Darrel Maxam Hi Darrel, good to know you're offering this service. My partner and I are going to invest in the Atlanta area. We had been thinking that short term rentals would be s way to boost rental yields but, at the moment we're thinking more term rentals in the areas that provide high yield. We thought that the market for short term rentals would be limited in Atlanta given that it is not a very touristic city as far as we know. We also figured out that, to attract hosts, we should buy expensive properties in expensive neighborhoods. Should we reconsider our decision to focus on long term in your opinion?

Thanks

Well speaking of NYC doing short term rentals is the only way to cash flow there (and it's illegal for investors). But in Atlanta, you can still make great money with long term rentals, depending where you buy of course. That's for my two cents.

@Casey Blakely I''m going to invest with a partner in Atlanta rentals too. I thought about doing short term rentals too but Atlanta is not s city that attracts many tourists if I''m not mistaken. Is the market big enough for that? What are your thoughts?

Also, it's great to have the long term strategy as plan B but the places suitable for short term might not cash flow on long term!

@ Jeffrey Miller welcome to BiggerPockets!

Great goals! Mine are similar.

I have been thinking about a private placement as well. Do you know which rules have to be respected with respect to fund raising?

Thanks

@Bijal Patel : Thank you. I see that interestingly so you are both an agent and an investor, which is the kind of people I will be looking to meet when in town for a visit in a few days.

@Bijal Patel : Thank you for sharing the reference with Quantum Bank. I might use it as well, as I am also looking for real estate investing friendly banks in Atlanta.
