I agree with Michael that if you are going to go though the trouble of building a site or paying someone to do it you might as well build it as a client portal too. Good examples being.

So I've been doing a lot of research on the best way to start my marketing campaign for wholesaling. At first I was considering bandit signs, but don't want to deal with the hassle of city ordinance, unprofessionalism and having to take them down.. I was thinking about post cards, door hangers or flyers. With that being said where's a good place to get motivated seller leads for the post cards. I found a sight online called "need to sell my house fast.com", they seem to offer high quality motivated leads at a cost. Any recommendations at this point would be great. Thanks so much!

Kind Regards

It will depend on your strategy, purchasing leads and google ads are a great way to find new clients, the only bad part is you will always have to pay for new clients and you will never get ahead of the curve.

Seo-ing a site and building a facebook community will take months and will not generate immediate results like purchasing a list or google ads but it will get you ahead and eventually clients will come to you.

Two different strategists both are effective but it depends on what you prefer.

I am going to build a basic site on Weebly and I have a question about which domain name I should choose.

With organic SEO in mind, which option do you think is best...

cash4myhouse-(city name).com
cashformyhouse-(city name).com

cash4yourhouse-(city name).com
cashforyourhouse-(city name).com

homebuyers-(city name).com

webuy(city name)properties.com

If you really want to push SEO you want to find a domain name exact to something someone would search for. Example howtosellmyhome(cityname).com

Then focus on, in order of importance

1. Geolocating your site to your specific city

2. Original content formatted with correct <h> and <p>

3. Site load speed/image seo

4. Videos (also geo-located)

5. Social Media Shares

6. Links Links Links

7. Google ads

If you want to stick with the one of domain names you listed I would recommend

cashformyhouse(cityname).com fyi no hyphens they're gehtto

You won't get the SEO brownie points of direct search but focus on the 7 steps and you will have your site up in 6 months or less... :)

I agree with Russell, the very important ones are liability, website, and marketing.

Home Page

The sites looks good, only big suggestion is to guide the viewer better to the resource they are seeking. If I was a new client looking to rent I would want to directly view your available properties. If I was currently renting from you I would want to see the resources you provide and how I can pay online etc. Also add more CTAs, other than that its pretty solid.

Oh and the payment page.

Cut the text and just make them pay. Link it directly to the payment page for your account (if that's possible) so you get the money asap, the less steps the better!  :)

Do you have a portfolio. Do you do anything else besides designing websites?

Well I actually invest in real estate myself, about to close my 6th home this year and convert it into another rental property.

Web design wise, you can take a look at one of our single property websites

http://4745pinetree.com/

Is actually a real home currently on the market, listing price is somewhere around 14 million for the Halda group.

Will have the full collection. The design work, domain name and hosting are all included, for as long you want or until the home is sold.

What is very intriguing to me is how you can "make us money digitally"? Lol what is that suppose to even mean.

Hey @Daniel Paloscio: it great to see you are looking for some feed back on bigger pockets; check out this video it helped me a ton.

She mentions cold emails, but postcards are essentially the same thing just physical.

Very nice! @Mike Vakas

Yeah, its pretty important to have a website now a days, or else nobody can find you.

Speaking of websites, you said you're in the process of getting yours done. If you like I can take a look at yours and give some professional feed back.

@Angel Troupe it really depends on the condition of your properties and how much you are willing to spend on marketing.

On one end of the spectrum you have little marketing money, the properties are in really bad shape/doesn't look too appealing online, you would want to shift your focus to getting investors into the house and seeing the value prop of the home as; "this home is fixer-upper which is undervalued and would be a great investment". Aka more traditional marketing.

The other side of the spectrum would be if you had tons of marketing money and the properties look very good online through either images and videos. In this case you would want to double down on online marketing. Get a single property website, post on zillow, mls, etc. use biggerpockets to connect with some other investors and list your properties.

Depending which spectrum you lean more too I can refer you to some resources that will help you market your homes.
