Hello. I need additional vents installed at the base of a brick house in the Heights (needs more air flow). I also need someone to spray the mildewed areas under the house.  I would appreciate recommendations.   Thank you.

Thanks Greg for your post. I went with another firm (Farmer's) for the first 3 months (vacant). They have some pay options that REI doesn't. But it's likely I will go with REIG as Shawn recommended (and he put me in touch with a rep) for the ongoing coverage once I have a renter in place.

Hello.  I am looking for inexpensive (eg. 2nd hand) chain link fencing and an attic insulation firm (blown-in) for a rental property I am buying in the Near North area.  I have a company that can install the fencing and blanket attic floor insulation. 

I am hoping to find a good place to buy inexpensive chain link fencing to fortify an existing fence and would like to get a bid from one or two firms for blown-in attic insulation.

Hello.  I am buying a single-family rental property into my SDIRA.  The house is rough (e.g. heat and A/C will be plug-in units).  Who do you use to insure your fixer upper rentals in Houston Texas?  I am talking with Amica.  They ensure my primary residence, etc.  But I have a feeling that they may not insure the rental depending on the results of the inspection.  Thank you.

Thank you Jeff, Bill and William for your posts.  Very helpful and my apologies for the delay in responding.  I was out of town in an area with limited internet connections.  My lesson from your posts is to pay attention to the zoning rules for the property.  I also think it will be good to partner up with folks who are more experienced in this kind of a transaction.  I appreciate your advice and will let this group know how it goes via PM.

Hello.  I am new to BP and will be purchasing property with a SDIRA.  I am looking to buy a property between 8K to 12K lot size in the Oak Forest / nearby area that will be rented to someone I already know.  They will have a small amount of landscaping equipment on the property.  I need the property to have a small house and am targeting to sell it in 4 years.  What kind of professional would you ask the question "Should I buy for commercial or residential resale and what would be your variables for either kind?" Please feel free to share your own opinion.  For instance, "I would ask (this kind of person)" or "I recommend targeting a residential resale because...".  Thanks for your help!
