Happy New Year everyone I live in Humble, Texas and I’m looking to buy real estate in Memphis and I was trying to find out where can I find a small mortgage loan for at least 30,000?

I just started saving a couple months ago and hoping I can start buying rental this year.

@Andrew Postell I am looking for something more affordable right now and the market out here is way to high for me right. I can get a condo out here but that’s really it in Memphis if I can find something between 30- and 60k with better cash flow. But I am interested in Killeen Texas.

Hi BP I just found out about velocity banking.

I was wondering is this a great way to start off my real estate investment? Are anyone else doing it? Are is it a bad idea in general? Any help would be appreciated.

@David Latu you should get the house appraise first don’t believe the numbers on Zillow or Redfin they are usually wrong. And I hope you are not getting your number from Zillow or Redfin either. If you are you might want to do more research. 

You are in great shape. You can start with a sfh or you can buy multifamily. Either way you have a great credit score and you have enough money for a down payment. You just need to find a deal that is have good cash flow and ROI. Leverage is very important in RE. All you need is the knowledge and you can start with two deals easily. Good luck.
