I have a property where I'm renting out three sections. The main level, basement and mother in law suite. It's a single family residence and I'm curious if it would be a good move to change it over to multi family? Should I put the utilities in my name, since each section doesn't have its own meter? This is my first rental property BTW, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
