@Michinori Kaneko Wow!  4 in 5 months is impressive!  Were they single family rentals?

@Enrique Huerta Thank you for the reply and for sharing your story!

I have been striving to succeed in my current job, the only problem is it's a huge nation wide PM so it will take some time to move-up and get noticed.  I am a small fish in a very big pond haha.  I wish to just invest solely in Multifamily and not have to worry about flipping a house for cash.  I need to study more on the acquisition process and see how I can provide value.

I really appreciate you reaching out and sharing your knowledge!

Hi @Carrie Carlton

I chose 500 honestly because it was the first large # to come to mind.  I want to be financially free before I turn 30, and want as many properties that it takes to get me there.  Now with that, I will set short term goals to get me closer and closer to that mountain top.  I love the niche of multifamily apartment buildings.  I currently work in Property Management and have always looked up to / wanted to be the owners of the properties.  It is my goal one day to own multiple 50+ unit buildings because I believe those properties create a better chance for substantial cashflow.  I am with you though, I wouldn't want to manage triple digit single family homes!

But you are right!

Financial freedom can be obtained with under 10 units.  My goal for 2019 is to do my first 4 deals, and then I'll go from there.

I will most likely join REIN here soon, and maybe we'll cross paths some day!

Thank you for reaching out!

Thanks @Michinori Kaneko

I am excited to get started and feel like I am in a very good place.  Nashville is growing like crazy so there are a lot of opportunities.  Now I just need to take on my first deal and snowball from it.

Hello Everyone!

My name is Michael Skvorak and I am at a point in my life where I want to start investing in Real Estate to reach financial freedom.  I am very excited to network and connect with you all on BiggerPockets and learn as much as possible!  I want to ask you all what is the best way to get started?  I am saving up as much $ as possible at the moment, as well as doing my research.  But I need to make that first big leap towards a deal and I just don't know what my first point of attack would be.  I would love to hear some examples of how you started investing!  My main goal is to do a flip or two to get some cash to be able to get into multifamily deals.  I love multifamily and the potential cashflow that it creates, and want to own over 500 units one day.  I have a full-time job and am excited to embrace the hustle to become a full-time investor.  I look forward to reading your posts and connecting with you all!  Thank you for your time!
