It’s only a failure if you fail to learn from it.

Just because the deal didn’t work out doesn’t mean you aren’t a better investor because of it. Get out there and find the the next deal! Good luck!

This is certainly a great position to be in! Cash out of a great equity position or utilize this property as strong rental income. I would say being a Midwest investor myself, that 190k in equity will certainly go much farther in MN than it will in FL. My position would be to cash out that equity and roll it into new investments opportunities closer to home. You can take the equity from one and potentially turn it into multiple. AND have those priorities closer to you and your over sight. Just my two cents! Good luck.

Cozy has been a great management program for my rental portfolio. Not only is it free for landlords but it makes monthly rent collection quick and easy for my tenants and myself!

Hello everyone!

I wanted to introduce myself to all active members on BP and especially local Des Moines BP investors. I haven't been active on BP for some time and am excited to be back. I am looking to kick start my Des Moines investing with single and multifamily investments. I am excited to network for the sake of RE relationships, opportunities and knowledge. I look forward to connecting on conversations about the local market as well as RE investing techniques!

I’d be more than happy to discuss with you the next time you are in Milwaukee.

Thanks for the insight and the connection! I would be looking to own and manage closer to the B range preferrably. I appreciate the offer, I would love connect to chat next time I get up to Milwaukee!

Hello BP,

I am evaluating Milwaukee as my next investment market as my fiancé and I may be moving there within the next twelve months. Both of us are from Iowa and haven't spent much time in Milwaukee. I have done some research on the market as well as spent a little time up there driving different neighborhoods and meeting with agents. Primarily looking at multifamily and possibly the flipping market.

I am very interested in learning more about this market and its current status as well as forecasted movement over the next few years. Looking to Bigger Pockets local investors for some helpful feedback!

Thanks for the help BP!
