I told some of of the others on here I would let them know how it went using a VA loan for a multi family. I closed on the 2 houses using the VA loan and now i'm trying to get the one im renting from property management. They told me I needed to give notice, however I have not been able to get ahold of them for a few weeks now and when I do they say I have to wait till the manager is back. The manager is currently on medical leave and they won't be able to give me any information on my house.

My question here is, in medford oregon, what kind of notice do I have to give to let them know I will be managing it myself?

What do I have to look for when dealing with property management?

Will I receive rent for this month being I just purchased this home this month?

Hello, I posted a while back about getting a house using a VA loan. I am in Oregon and my tenant who I will be getting when I purchase the house, is paying 900 and the rent has not been moved up in quite a while. Its a 2 bed 1 bath house, and I was wondering what's the best way to go about raising the rent? I would also like to know if anyone has a good renters agreement template?

Thank you all again in advance, I appreciate all the knowledge.

Thank you all for the information, i'll push this to my realtor and see what's what. If I close this deal I will be sure to let the group know how it goes.

Hello,

New here and new to real estate investing.

I am a military Vet using the VA loan here in Medford OR, and I am looking at a house built in early 1900's. It has a fairly new 2bd 1bath smaller home in the back that is being rented out and a really good size front house all on one lot. I was wondering what I need to look out for and what to ask the real estate agent and the owner when going into something this old. I know its really open ended and half of the answers could be super simple but any and all info would be appreciated.
