Hey bigger pockets. I am looking to get on an email list from wholesalers in the upstate New York area. I am in Orange County however I am also looking in Sullivan, dutches, and surrounding areas. Please let me know of any reliable wholesalers that I can get in contact with.

Hey BiggerPockets Fam! I have a question about taxes! I know its a fun topic. So i live in upstate New York, however I'm close to both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Being that my LLC is in New York, if I flip a property outside of New York and make a profit will I be paying taxes in both states? I currently work in New Jersey and live in New York so I pay both state taxes out of my paycheck so that's why I'm asking. Also if I end up renting or doing an Airbnb will I be paying taxes on monthly income profits?

Hey bigger pockets family. I’m in the middle of doing a refi on my primary residence, the loan docs came back from underwriting and it looks like I’m paying about $18,050 in closing costs on a $194,000 refi. To me this sounds like to much. 9.25% to close seems high to me. Can anyone shine some light on this for me?

So I’m shopping around for a Hard Money loan. I found a lender that’s willing to work with me. The terms are 30% down, 16% interest for 12 months then balloon at the end of 12 months. No points upfront. How does this sound. This will be my first Investment property. Anyone have similar terms? How did it turn out?

Get on it. So what kind of challenges do you face with being in Barbados and investing in ny. You must have a good team out together?

@Remi Oguntoye, Hey Remi! Wow that's really good advise and reassuring about the area. Yes the Hudson valley is really hot right now, my realtor told me most houses aren't even making it on the MLS. I actually attempted to wholesale to come with some capitol to buy my first property but I was spending thousands and getting nowhere, wholesaling is something I would do as I grow And make more connections but buy and hold is the road I'm going to take. I am totally ready to take a calculated risk and am I'm comfortable with loosing some money in return for experiences and learning something new. I want to meet as many people as possible and if there's any virtual meetups you know about I would love to attend. I'm not even sure where to go to find some virtual meetups to be honest. I want to learn as much as I can and if there's anything I can do for you please let me know. I live in Orange County ny so if there's a property you need someone to scope out or Anything at all, please let me know. I'm willing to donate time to learn as well. I read so

Many books, listened to thousands of hours of podcasts, endless YouTube videos on basically all aspects of real estate investing, and everything in between. I’m ready to make a move. I really appreciate the response Remi! I hope we can connect and learn some more from each other!

@Chris Szepessy, Those are all great tips thank you so much. It’s time to build my team. Maybe we will end up doing a deal down the road sometime! This is such an awesome place to network and find people with the same passion!
