Does anyone have any experience in the Pinnacles National Park area? Soledad / Greenfield / Gonzales / Hollister.  I'm about to head there on a trip for the first time and I know very little about it but was hoping to see if it was a potential market.  Just looking at Airbnb it doesn't seem like there is a huge market there and I was curious as to why. Anything and everything is appreciated!

@David Pere that's what I initially thought since it would be too good to be true if you could do so by room. I'm getting ready to house hack 2 bedrooms and I'm looking for avenues to grow from there. Thanks for the info!

@David Pere does this apply to renting rooms as well or only units as a whole?

I just wanted to put out some gratitude.  Because of this community I was able to finally pull the trigger on purchasing my first home in San Diego.  I was definitely stuck in paralysis for the longest time but in from all the information and support this community puts out I was confident in purchasing my first home.  I've got a lot of work to do and a lot to learn and I'm looking forward to it all. Than you.

I have popcorn ceiling that tested positive for asbestos and want to remove it.  I would like to make renovations to the home but cant because of the asbestos.  I don't want to shake things up, releasing the fibers in the air.  Any recommendations on who to use in the San Diego area?

@Kenneth Donaghy got it! Thank you for the information.  I'll have to keep this in my back pocket for the future.

@Christian Johnston Congrats on the deal!

@Kenneth Donaghy if I'm reading this correctly, when applying for a loan you can use "projected rental income" when purchasing homes with more than one unit? When applying for a loan for 2-4 unit homes would this increase the amount one could be loaned?

I've just entered escrow for a home I would like to purchase. How do I go about getting the best rates/loan by comparing LE's? Am I able to compare non-locked LEs or do I have to provide mortgage brokers all the financial information required in order to compare locked LE's?

Any and all information helps! Thank you!
