Thanks everyone, now that I take a look I don’t really stand out from the competition. I’m going to make a couple changes and see what happens.

My short term rental bookings are way down lately and I’ve had a lot of cancellations as well. My property manager said that it’s been like that with all the properties and not just with mine. I’d like to reach more potential guests and see if I can boost the occupancy. Anyone have any strategies or ideas?

Thanks @Joshua Janus, so far it’s only attracted a few of our friends and family. Hopefully after we paint and change a couple things we can put up some new photos and attract some new followers.

Thanks @Will Fraser my estimate was on that high end. I’ve always painted myself so I don’t have any idea of prices.

I need to paint the interior of my 1250 square foot vacation rental property. It needs some extensive prep work and has cathedral ceilings. Anyone have an idea of what something like that would cost with all materials included?

I recently closed on a short term vacation rental property. My wife and I have create an Instagram and Facebook account to try and promote it. I was curious how other people are using social media to market their properties.

My wife and I just closed on our first short term rental property in South Carolina. We are looking for a CPA to tax plan and help us reap all the tax benefits of real estate investing. Should we look for someone in New York, South Carolina or does it matter where they are located?
