I would like to network with anyone in the Montgomery/ Mobile, Alabama area. I am from San Diego, CA but I have rental properties in STL, MO. I will be in the Montgomery area in the next few weeks so I'd like to start networking now. I am new to this market so would appreciate any help I can get from fellow BPers. Hope to talk with some of you soon!

Has ANYONE had a positive experience with DoHardMoney lender based out of Utah??? I haven't found one positive review anywhere but there website.Thank you for your feedback in advance

Post: St. Louis Market looking to network

I am new to the St. Louis, MO market and I am looking to connect with others in STL or other markets. I just bought my first duplex and I am looking to buy a four plex in the next few months. I am an out of state investor located in San Diego, CA. I have one family member out in STL but I can't rely solely upon him as he is a contractor with a full plate. It's difficult to move at the pace I want to especially when I do not have boots on the ground out there. Maybe some of you have had the same problem being an out of state investor. Looking to network with anyone even if were not in the same market. Hope this reaches everyone well and safe.

Hey Douglas, Welcome to BP. I know someone who invests in Oklahoma. Send me your email and I will connect you with him!

Post: Investing in Detroit

I'm just looking for some insight into the Detroit market. I know there have been billions of dollars that have been invested back into the city and that downtown Detroit has been completely revitalized. From the information that I've been getting I feel like Detroit may be one of the best if not the best markets to invest in right now. Not only are the rent to value ratios the highest in the US but as aforementioned the massive appreciation potential and positive growth trending have been hard to not notice. St Louis, MO has been the market that I've been interested in mostly because I have family out there (boots on the ground) and they will be able to give me a clear perspective on what's going on being that I'm located in San Diego, CA. St Louis also has great rent to value ratios and from the research I've done, some areas definitely have appreciation potential as well. I am new to investing so this may be over analyzing (analysis paralysis) but hopefully some of you experienced in these markets can give me some more insight...

@Angelo Mart

Thank you for this information. Very useful

@Michael Ealy

Thank you for all this great information.

What areas have you invested in if you don’t mind me asking?

@Greg Miller

Do you only invest north ?

@Greg Miller

Why is that ? What else do you look for ? Do you think this area is worth investing in? I have family that lives out there and they keep telling me you can buy very cheap but rent is still around 700 monthly

@Jason Graves

Currently, I am in construction. I am a journey man so I can get work all over the US. Monthly income varies around the country but as a journey man I should be making top wage in each state.

I would not qualify for VA loan but would be using FHA. I am leaning towards moving to STL, MO.
