I don't think there is a one size fits all. What may be best for others may not necessarily be best for you. I think the starting point is understanding how you intend to use your laptop, what applications you want to run, and what your budget is. Then, you can prioritize performance, battery life, design, features, brand, etc. based on your needs.

I have used rentometer and compared that to the rental CMAs from my real estate agents. Your agent should be able to provide you with one if you ask.

A good deal is subjective and will change from one person to another. It could be based on amount of equity, cash flow, CoC, etc. So you need analyze it to determine if it helps you achieve or get closer to achieving your goals. BRRRR is an investing strategy but does not automatically equate to a good deal. BRRRRs are typically acquired with cash and refinanced to get the original funds back.

You can choose to pay a commission or not to pay one. Just make it clear in your FSBO listing if you are going to pay one or not and if so how much. When I listed a FSBO I had many agents call and try to negotiate a buyers commission with me. Be clear with agents about it upfront so you don't waste their time or yours.

I use Personal Capital and it does a nice job showing you the big picture and tracks your net worth, assets, liabilities, cash flow, etc. It is free and easy to use. You can link your accounts up so the data is refreshed and updated in real time.
