@Scott K.  I agree now that you put it that way.

@Dawn Anastasi  I would certainly be highly upset if I visited one of my properties to find that a group of drug addicts raided the property and stole all of the plumbing! I just haven't thought of these issues before. I noticed that some of the urban areas have decent parts of town where the community is being restored.

One thing I was thinking about recently regarding this matter is that even though some areas may be terrible, someone has to live there. So there are many people who have been renting in areas such as Detroit, Philadelphia and others and they may want to own a home. So I think cleaning up the boarded up properties could benefit those people as well as the investors. Any thoughts?

Purchase a few (2-4) buy and holds and wholesale as many deals as possible. I'd also like to buy and flip several properties in 2015.

Thanks, @Jon Lafferty. I've just started to read it and I am taking tons of quality notes while trying to get my first deal under contract. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks guys! BP has already been very useful. I love the app as well. @Sara Cunningham do reach out when you're ready to invest across the border.

How's it going?! I'm Michael from New Jersey. I'm currently living in Northern Delaware. I was introduced to BP by way of searching for new podcasts to listen to. It's been very informative since day one. I'm looking to network here with like minds.
