@Darius Ogloza thank you! someone told me it would be a good idea to get, so i figured i would look into it more, the whole getting started sounded complicated and cost a good amount of money so i didn’t know if it would be worth it or not. I may just wait and see i guess.

@Nicholas L. yes it is, it’s mostly just cosmetics , as it has a new roof, no foundation issues , newer HVAC. The bathrooms will need to be re done, and so does the kitchen which i think will be the bigger expenses

Hey everybody, would this deal make sense for the BRRR method.

Would it make sense to buy a home for 65,000$ that needs 15,000$ to repair(rough estimate). The ARV is $130,000. The average rental in the area is 1,200$-1,300$.

I am just getting started in real estate and would like to make sure I’m not a starting out on a bad foot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. When I did the math in my head it seemed like it would make sense but a little expert advice would be huge for me!

Hello everybody! i am new to real estate and have recently tried to learn how to do the BRRR method, i wrote an example with rough estimate numbers. I just want to make sure i am understanding and doing it right. I am honestly just looking for advice to further my education on this topic. (Writing things out is the best way i learn) This example is from a combination of things i have learned from bigger pockets as well as books i have read and market values i have been trying to keep up with.

I would like to build a large portfolio of rental properties to build a passive income.

Thank you for your time and help!!
