Thank you!! It's been an amazing journey.  I'm literally sitting with my wife discussing the move right now.. So much work, but I'm very happy to be able to do it!

@Breah Richardson and @Bobur Shamsidinov  Thank You!  It's been hectic at times, and a lot of work trying to find the right deals, and put it all together, but we're doing it.

@Korosh Major Thank you.  Yes it's very possible.

@David Worker Well we aren't exactly Amish country here. We don't have the buggies around like Arcola.. lol.. But I have gone to Amish country 45 mins away and hired crews for roofing and decking jobs! They do quality work for a very reasonable rate. Congrats on your first BRRR

@Joe T. Thank You!  Hard work did pay off in a big way.

@Prem Schoff  Absolutely. If you wanna shoot me an email on what areas you are interested in learning about. I can probably shoot you over a book for that particular topic.

@Terri Ring  I completely agree. In fact after I had grabbed hold of my first 12 units in my first 3 months, and I had stabilized them. I went to my 3 brothers that I work with, showed them what I was doing, why it was working, and offered to start a company with them even at a slow pace, just so they have some type of retirement. Told them I just needed a little money, and I'd take care of the rest. And they all kind of said "Man, it sounds good. Those type of returns would be amazing, but I'm just to afraid to lose my money."  Most stay paralyzed

@Fradel Schaechter  Thank You!!  It's been pretty amazing

jay,

I have my reservations in certain locations, but overall the past 20 years in the locations I'm investing things have remained stable or increased in income and population. Now, there are areas I would avoid if this was not the case. In fact I am not sure it's necessary because these towns have been around for 100+ years, but I have a 5 year exit strategy, and a 2 year plan that puts me into large multi-family properties in midwest submarkets that are growing and average between 150-500k in metropolitan populations.

The old retired landlords that I'm buying these properties off of are all wealthy and just moving to warmer climates bc they can, on multiple occassions I've been talking to these men about my longterm goals, and they have said "if you just stay here and do this you will be wealthy for life" .  So to answer your question. . Nope, not afraid in the slightest..

@Eunique Gill  Thank You!!  Moving and packing is a lot of work; but you don't fret about it when you're moving into a beautiful place that my wife and I have worked so hard for in our Real Estate business.

@Kayla Oliver-Pratt  Yes it is peaceful! It's on 6 acres of ground at the end of a Dead End road 6.5 miles from home. When we pull up and get out to start unloading boxes etc. It's kinda like stepping into this peaceful place where no1 can bother us!  Not that I hate humanity or anything, but man it's nice to have a spot a little bit away from it all. And seeing my kids' and my wife's excitement as we are actually moving there is just an incredible feeling. It literally all started with a dream of mine to own and manage rental properties!!  These BP forums and searching for answers has been great, All the members here have helped in some way, because their excitement at sharing answers and being a place i can search when I have had issues, is just awesome!!  Thank You All!
