I have to disagree... A website is not nearly as important as other forms of advertising.

#2: Business cards: They should be high gloss and double sided. Your title is not important but you should have logo for affiliation, award or designation.

The only thing that should be placed on the back af a card is a blank canvass. Unless you want a two sided card. Leave the presentation to a verbal presentation and dont over educate the prospect.

#3: Folders, fliers, brochures: If they are well-done and consistent in quality, look and feel with your website and business card, it will demonstrate to your client how you will market them. If you market yourself impressively you will send the right message to the customer.
before you get too fancy with flyers learn presentation skills

#4: Confidence NOT arrogance. Truth be told, I rarely listen to what my customer has to say. Rather, I tell them what I can and will do for them IF they become my customer. Your resume is important and get it out of the way early, but don't impose yourself too much.

If you don’t listen to your prospect you can’t see the closes coming... I agree you should remain in control every step of the way however the opportunity that you give the prospect to say something is paramount to your victory.

And why is this post on a Real estate investing site?

Hell if we all want to brag... I took 119 listings my first year and over 300 my second... In 2005, as an investor, had over 226 transactions.... But who cares....

A couple of questions for all of you.

1) If you wrote a marketing book for real estate investing what would you name it?

2) What would you write about?

Thanks

Michael

There are only 12 doors you should knock on

3 just solds

3 active for sale

5 houses around the prospect

the prospects door

Anything else is a huge waste of time..

Unless you want to train Bird Bogs

The problem isn’t with the list it is with the Investors who don’t know how to close...

Your presentation to buy at a discount starts with your marketing... Then it is carried thru the call capture finally resting with your ability to get a contract signed.

Anyone ever hear the 3 cycles of business

1) Lead Generation

2) Lead Capture

3) Lead fulfillment

Aint rocket science

Because the internet doesnt solve for URGENCY....

When someone needs something the keep applying until they find what they are looking for or until someone calls them back.

By answering the telephone the caller can get the feeling if communicated that their problem is solved and that you are coming over to buy their house...

There isnt a webpage out there that can accomplish that..
