Hi Nathan, thank you for your feedback! I’m definitely in the phase of sifting through the groups in my area to find the right one. I’m currently in Denver and I’d like to start investing here. I want to start with buy and holds, both short and long term rentals, and do some flipping and possibly commercial projects in the future when I’ve got a little more capitol.

I haven’t been to a group more than once yet because I haven’t felt like I was in the right space, but would you recommend I go a few times before dismissing a group? I can’t tell if that would be wasting my time, or if I shouldn’t rely so heavily on first impressions.

I’d also love to hear some of your personal stories! I’ll connect with you!

Hi everyone! As a fresh-faced investor who is looking to purchase her first property by the end of the year, I'm wondering if some of you more experienced folks would mind sharing some wisdom on REI groups. I've been to a couple in my area, and plan to attend many more, but I haven't felt like I've clicked with any so far. What qualities should I be looking for in a REI Group? I'm not sure if I just haven't found the right group for me, or if I just need to improve my networking skills. In which case, what questions do you think every newbie should be asking at REI Groups? Thank you for your time and feedback!
