Just the fact that you made this post and made yourself vulnerable shows your amazing attitude!

Join and actively attend your local REIA group, get involved, ask questions, engage with everyone in the room….investors will start to see you as the "go-to" agent

Find out what the pain points are for investors in the area and film a reel and IGTV to address it on your instagram

Spend a day down at City Hall in Tampa and try to meet with the building department officials from permitting and zoning. Drop off some Panera bread pastries…we underestimate how much $20 worth of tasty treats will get you past a gatekeeper and you might get some serious facetime with a Tampa official who has a plethora of information and authority into permitting, zoning etc.

Dumpster driving - Drive around on weekday afternoons and if you see a dumpster and construction crew working on a house see if you can find the lead or foreman on the job and introduce yourself and exchange business cards… you you be building your brand and your network of trades to provide for your investor clients.

Yes, a fellow KW agent! This was amazingly helpful advice, ideas I probably would’ve never thought on my own. Thank you so much for taking the time to give me a few pointers.

@Shawn Mcenteer This is awesome advice, as there are plenty of groups available for investors. But I haven’t come across any groups for investor friendly agents, this is something I will definitely look into. Thanks!

Oh okay. I have 2 investors on my books for this week and a handful of off-market deals. Hopefully everything goes well and I can learn from them, and own a few investments properties in the near future. Thanks for your advice!

Hey guys, I’m pretty new to this platform and my goal is to become the preferred investor-friendly agent in my area. I’ve already done a ton of research on this subject using BP forums and blogs, as well as my own research on general investment knowledge.

But I’d like to get more insight from current investors in the biz now. Besides the ability to generate cash flow, what other areas of value/characteristics are you looking for in an agent?

Hi Jonathan, I’m a Realtor in the Tampa Bay Area. Have you tried partnering with an agent? There’s some great deals in the outskirts of the Bay Area like Lakeland, Apollo Beach, etc.

I’ve ton a ton of research and 30% of closings in the Tampa area have been done by investors. Let’s connect and we can chat about some trends I’ve been seeing in the investment market lately.
