Wondering if it’s normal for lenders to ask for a loan origination fee of approx. $1200. What is the usual ways you deal with this transaction? I suggested giving the funds to an attorney in trust and releasing them at due time, which seems the safest way to protect myself from a scam. Thank you for your responses in advance!

Do you have connections with contractors or partners that are going to help ensure the success of your project? These are things that someone bringing you deals whether they are a wholesaler or agent are going to need to know.

 Hi Michael,

I was wondering how you found your property, and the professionals helping you with the transaction. I'm in Brampton, Ontario and looking to invest in the US but I don't know where to start looking.

We have spent a lot of time researching other markets here in BC and would love to connect with you and see how we can pool some information together!

Depending on what you like to see for property types, we just put 3 offers in this week on properties that are split level up downs that work great for holding and have lots of upside.

Lets connect!
Cheers

Hello, I'm in Ontario and was looking at properties in the U.S. Just wondering why you are staying in Canada with your investing, or if you do have any properties in the U.S. I'm just starting off so I can't afford the housing market in Canada as it is so much higher than the U.S it seems. From what I see, in Victoria the housing seems to start from the 300's.

Looking into starting on my real estate investing journey. Was wondering if there is any advice about Canadians investing in the US, such as laws or additional costs that I may not be aware of. Would like to connect with fellow Canadians to find out how you got started, how you decided where you would invest, how you found the professionals to handle the transactions and contractors. :)
