Post: LLC filing... California or Nevada?

I plan on setting up an LLC for my real estate business. My initial priories will be in Las Vegas but I love in California. For tax purposes I thinking I should register my LLC in Nevada. Can anyone give me some advice on this? Does it matter where I register? Of course the goal here is to go where the least taxes are collected.

Hi everyone. I'm new here. Currently in research and learning phase of real estate investing. I'm so glad to have found this site, I've learned so much already. I'm looking at small properties to start with in Las Vegas. I'm thinking a couple apartments to get me started.
