Thanks @Christopher Giannino and @Andrew Postell! We are actually meeting with a mortgage company next week and I will make sure to let them know.

Hi,

I'm confused on some financing options. My husband and I right now live in an apartment complex but our lease is not up until March 2018. When its ready for us to move out, we would like to house hack and buy a multifamily with an FHA loan. In the meantime though, we would like to buy some SFH with a traditional 20% down mortgage loan.

Does anyone know if you use a traditional mortgage loan for the first property, could you then get an FHA loan for the second property?

Thanks in advance!

Great job @Vincent P.! I'm also new to BP and we are looking to hopefully acquire a multi family property soon. Could you explain how you financed the property? That's primarily what we struggling with because we don't know if we should wait until we have enough for the 20% down payment or do an FHA.

Also what are the most important relationships would you say that you have to have in place before buying? (Ex. Lawyer, insurance agent...) Or did you just find the key people in the process?

thanks! Jeff if you have other duplexes that you are selling please let me know. And yes the condo's HOA is $323 per month.

I' a new investor and looking for my first deal. Oklahoma investors and anyone that wants to pitch in. I found two properties below in the Tulsa area and I wanted to know what the BP community would recommend. Would they create a good cash flow?

1) 2 bed/2 bath $45,500. rent estimate $750. All appliances included and almost everything redone. 875 sqft.

2) Studio $49,900, rent estimate $850. Covered parking. 550 sqft. downtown Tulsa.

Great information I really appreciate it!

Hi my name is Melanie Tribble and my husband and I just moved to the Owasso area. We are beginners in REI and want to gain as much advice as possible before buying our first property. We are interested in buying single family homes and multifamily property. We have an emergency fund, but with our monthly savings we are paying a student loan.

-What are the financing options we have to buy a property without putting much of our emergency fund into it?

-What are essential relationships (lawyers, insurance...) we need to have before buying our first property?

Thanks in advance!
