Hi @Ryan Marrs I'm a new investor in the Tulsa area and I'm very interested in the BRRR strategy, and I had one question regarding this method. After you rehab and refinance the house, is the extra cash made from the ARV taxed? Or how do you keep it from being taxed? If you invest it in another house could you avoid taxes?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Kyle Allen! welcome! I'm a new investor as well and have been reading books and listening to the podcasts for around two months now. I have an android and if you download the podcast addict add you can find the BP podcast and download all the episodes over wifi to save on data. And some of the books I have read that were pretty good are: 4hr work week, rich dad poor dad,  and 2 years to a million in real estate. I plan on reading the Brandon Turner books, J scott books and the e myth next. Good Luck!

Hi @Scott England and @Dustin Davis I'm a new investor as well in the Tulsa Area and we are in search for our first property as well. I'll PM you as well to connect!

I am an associate engineer for public service of Oklahoma, and I run my own dog treat business :). My husband and I have been saving 70% of our income for the past year and this extra money we are wanting to invest into real estate. We are going to get pre approved next week and hopefully take the next big step soon!

@Alexander Monnin I think its great that you are getting prepared at an early age! My husband and I graduated from college 2 years ago with degrees in engineering. Having a dual engineering income has allowed as to save 70% of our income and we are now using this extra money to invest in real estate. So definitely put a lot of hard work into your courses and network with people both in engineering and in real estate, you will be surprised how many engineers are real estate investors.

I just finished the 4hr work week and I'm about to dive into Rich Dad Poor Dad. thanks for the summary!
