Post: Real Estate Investor Friendly Brokers in central Ohio?

I'm in the process of getting my real estate license in the state of Ohio and intend to practice part time while holding down a standard W2 job.  I have always wanted my license and am interested in getting involved in real estate investing. I like the buyer/seller component of real estate but I also love the analysis and risk/reward potential in investing.  I am researching the various brokerages to get sponsorship to take my licensing exam but I'm wondering whether there are any investor-friendly brokerages out there that won't have me hemorrhaging money to stay active while I learn the business?  Any insights in the central Ohio area?

@Tim G. 's point, it must be supportable by an efficient end user process that repeatable, scalable and sustainable.  If you don't have your process clearly defined, the data quality will suffer. If the data quality is compromised than the integration merely risks compounding misinformation.  In a perfect world, the system solution should enhance the already solid support model and eventually turn data into information.

@Ray Hespen I think the more focus we can place on integrating our information sources the more powerful our tools become. Combining our property source and transactional systems is just the tip of the iceberg for what I think could be a fully integrated property investment solutions. Just imagine driving down the street and your car's navigation system is integrated with the likes of MLS, Realtor.com, Zillow and auditor's websites. Instant information for decision-making.

@Ray Hespen thanks for the links. I definitely see the opportunities to streamline business processes and free knowledge workers from administrative tasks. As a real estate professional, do you forecast any drastic changes to market data analysis through currently privatized online sources such as MLS?

There seems to be a lot of good information on this site - is the upgrade worth the subscription costs for someone just getting started?

I am looking to make the first step in real estate investing in central Ohio (Sunbury, Galena, Westerville, Gahanna areas).  I've always loved real estate and want to pursue getting my sales and brokerage license while flipping houses in the area part time.  I am quite handy and have lots of amateur home improvement experience. I don't mind the sweat equity but need to learn the math of real estate investing in the Columbus area. Any guidance would be very much appreciated during my fledgling phase.
