Recently bought an investment property & the hardwood floors have a layer of brown paint over them that I want to get off. Any advice/tips on best way to remove/lift paint from hardwood floors?

Hi BP! My husband & I just purchased our first multifamily in Cleveland, Ohio! It is a historic home that needs quite a bit of work (AC installation, siding, vinyl wood plank flooring (including re-leveling from some settling/sinkage), bathroom reno + kitchen work). I am looking for solid contractor bids + appreciate any referrals, recommendations, etc. 

Open to using different contractors for different components of the rehab. Looking to start 8/1 and finish by 9/15 (to rent out starting 10/1). Thanks in advance.
