Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment in Knoxville.

Purchase price: $102,000
Cash invested: $5,500

Single family home just south of downtown Knoxville. 3bd/2br with finished basement. Older neighborhood but area is growing and becoming more popular.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Originally bought for me to live in but after I moved I decided to keep it and try to rent it without having any previous investment experience. So far has been difficult to manage and get rented but have just switched to a new property manager and I believe now it will be more under control.
