So Ive recently found a house that is perfect but there is one problem. At the end of the back yard about 300 feet there are high tension power lines. I understand EMF's are bad but is there a safe distance?

i requested for a licensed contractor of my choice. I also requested for him to pay for the inspection After all work is completed. Total cost for morgage taxes and insurance will be 922 a month and  in the area the average  3 bed room single family is 1400

So I have a house under contract, it was listed at 140 and got it down to 114. The house was originally a flip and after the inspection I found a lot of issues everything from structural to heating and air . I'm curious if I should break the contract, but the seller said he will fix everything listed in a few years Im looking into turning it into a rental Any thoughts?

Hello everyone,

So I found my first house and want to turn it into a rental in the next 5 years.  I got the price down from 140 to 114, but the house was a flip. I got the house under contract and inspected , but there are a lot of things wrong.  Everything from bad siding, structural issues, heating and air issues, ground grading, windows and the list goes on. I told my realitor to cancel the deal and the seller said he will fix everything with a licensed contractor. Any thoughts or ideas are appreacited

Hey guys, I am working on buying my first property in south jersey, I have heard that you can not buy a foreclosure with a fixed rate mortgage? Have you guys ever heard of this?
