Thanks Allison!

Thanks Mark!

Well, since you already know that I'm a new Investor in Philly, and since BP is very much a social site, here are some facts about me that are NOT related to REI:

-  I'm an actor.  Mostly on stage -- I'm a nut for Shakespeare.  No matter how much my REI business grows, I intend to continue acting when I find the time.
-  I periodically work temporary Project/Program Management gigs to supplement my income.  (I will be fine with giving these up as my REI business grows.)
-  Getting married to a wonderful woman a year-and-a-half ago has brought me to reevaluate my priorities, and my Bohemian-like starving-artist lifestyle.
-  I spent many of my younger-adult years in the Army, and led a platoon in the Gulf War (the 1st one).
-  I enjoy HEMA (historical European martial arts), and taking circus classes.  Both of these are on hold so I can focus on getting my business going.
-  My wife & and recently adopted an adorable scruffy little furball of love.

Sorry for the overload of personal information, but I figure this is the only time I'll really have the non-gratuitous opportunity to post this kind of stuff.

I look forward to meeting and hearing more about you!

Good to know I'm not quite alone -- I'm a newbie at 51!

I'll look forward to hearing about your progress on the Forums, as I navigate the many corridors of this new venture as well.  Welcome to Bigger Pockets!
