Thank you all. you've helped a lot!

Hello,

I am new to everything and doing my best to learn. We are located in South FL and our offer on a single family primary residence was accepted, yay. My lender suggested hiring a title attorney, and my realtor says I don't need one in S. FL it will be a waste of $.

Since I am a super newb, I am also now confused and not sure what to do. Can someone tell me what is more common to do here in S. FL

Thank you :)

I heard about this "tip" a few times from Brandon, the beardy guy :)

When I brought it up to my RE agent she said it's "BS" and that they don't forward these things (photos, letters) to the seller due to HIPAA law.

Is there some truth in this?

I really like the idea and was looking forward to adding a family photo when we make an offer for our first home!

Thank you

(I hope this is the correct forum)

Hello,

My name is Maya and a I am an uber newb with anything real estate. I am married, we have a 5 yr, 3, yr, and 6 months old.... and... we are renters. Our main goal for this year is to acquire 1 primary residence and a 1 rental income unit. We live in Broward County, FL and it def fits the needs of our family.

I feel like this whole process is been a bit of a struggle (dealing with lenders and realtors who just seem uninterested to help us)

I'm here to learn and happy to join all you experts :)
